The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Bayelsa state branch, has planned to carry out the Bimodal voter verification, BVAS, in the state.
On February 4, 2023, the meeting of the senators will be held across the state.
According to a statement sent to DAILY POST by the Head of the Department, HOD, Voter Awareness and Public Awareness in the state, Mr. Wilfred Ifogah, said the exercise will start at 8:30 a.m. morning to 2:30 p.m.
He said that only voters with permanent voting cards, PVC, of the mentioned polling stations will participate.
He also stated that the test that will be conducted in 12 polling stations across 12 local governments in six local governments and three local governments of the state senate is to confirm his work in this field.
The announcement, which listed the locations where the elections will be held, called on political parties, civil society organizations, CSOs; Non-governmental organizations, non-governmental organizations, and other stakeholders to come out and observe the conduct of elections in designated areas.
