Josh and I have been friends ever since I met him in my second year of school. I never imagined that it could be more, as I tried to hide behind jokes and laughter. As time went on, I got used to the idea of just being friends. After six months of being separated because of our IT, he finally asked me out.
I thought it was our usual jokes, our dates or marriage, to which I always replied that it was impossible. He kept asking until I finally took him seriously, but I wasn’t sure because I was used to just being one of his friends.
The new semester has started and I finally got to see it. We set a date to see. I prepared a list of questions in my mind to ask him and wanted to be sure that I still loved him. Lol, I came here feeling all shy and giddy. Everything I had planned for disappeared in that moment.
We talked, and he affirmed that he loved me. It took me a while to finally accept it, but now we are together, loving each other beyond the moment and even beyond my fears. We did not see each other, but it was love beyond the moment.
