The National Court of Labor of Nigeria has ordered the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) to call off its seven-month-old strike.
ASUU has been on strike since February demanding improved results for universities, a review of lecturer salaries, among other demands.
All negotiations to resolve the crisis between the federal government and the ASUU ended in an impasse.
As a result, the federal government went to court to challenge the strike.
