Manchester United is ready to make Real Madrid midfielder, Casemiro, the second-highest paid player at the club.
According to the UK Metro, United will offer Casemiro a five-year deal.
The Brazil international has emerged as a shock late transfer target for the Premier League side, with the transfer window set to close in two weeks.
And the Red Devils have put together a financial package that will turn the 30-year-old’s head.
United have offered to almost double Casemiro’s current salary, which is believed to be around £ 180,000 a week.
That would make him second only to Cristiano Ronaldo in United’s wage structure, while the length of the deal would keep him at Old Trafford until 2027.
