Rad boud University Scholarship 2022 – It is the Rad boud University Scholarship Program is highly selective. It is a chance for high-quality, highly motivated non-EEA students who have outstanding academic outcomes and the opportunity to receive a scholarship to complete an English-language Radboud University Master’s degree program.

The scope of the Radboud University Scholarship program

Every year, a few part-time scholarships can be granted under the Radboud Scholarship Programme for the duration of one of the English Master’s degree programs that are taught by a professor (with the exemption from Erasmus Mundus Master’s programs and joint-degree Master’s degrees).

The Radboud Scholarship will reduce your tuition fees to EUR 2,209 per year. For example, a grant-holder in 2022/2023 pays an annual tuition fee of EUR 2,209 rather than EUR16,000.

In 2022/2023, a maximum of 37 Radboud scholarships can be awarded: Faculty of Arts (2), Faculty of Law (14), Faculty of Medical Sciences (7), Nijmegen School of Management (3), Faculty of Philosophy, Theology and Religious Studies (1), Faculty of Science (8), Faculty of Social Sciences (2).

  • It also pays for the cost of an entry visa, a residence permit, and liability insurance for your time throughout your stay in The Netherlands (Aon student insurance). The expenses of living and learning within The Netherlands are not covered. A breakdown of these expenses of living and learning is available on their website(verwijst on a different website).
  • If you’re selected as a recipient of a scholarship and accepted into an academic program that lasts two years To be eligible for the grant in the following year, you have to complete all the required courses in the first year.
  • It is important to note that the Radboud Scholarship cannot be combined with the Radboud Encouragement Scholarship, Fulbright-Radboud Scholarship, Orange Tulip Scholarship. and Holland Scholarship. If you are eligible, you can apply for multiple scholarships or Holland Scholarship, however,, only one is awarded. It is important to take note that you can’t be eligible for both Radboud Scholarship Program and Radboud Encouragement Scholarship, you are only able to choose one of the two scholarships.

Who is qualified to apply for the Radboud university scholarship?

You’ll only be eligible to apply for a Radboud University scholarship if:

  1. have a passport that is not EU/EEA.
  2. aren’t qualified for the less expensive EEA tuition fee due to other reasons
  3. are holders of (will be able to obtain) an undergraduate degree outside of the Netherlands or have no degree earned from the Netherlands and have not received any prior education in the Netherlands (exchange programs are not included as long as they form included in the bachelor’s degree earned in a country other than the Netherlands)
  4. Meet the English proficiency requirement in the language to be enrolled in the Master’s program you choose
  5. are fully accepted to the Master’s degree in English taught program, which will start on 1 September 2022. This is stated in the official letter of admission.
  6. can meet the requirements to obtain an entry visa to the Netherlands
  7. Students are currently enrolled in Radboud University as full-time students for the academic year and the master’s degree program in which the scholarship will be awarded.

What criteria will students use to be chosen?

The selection process for Radboud university scholarships recipients will be determined by the following guidelines:

  • Academic excellence
    Excellent study outcomes can be found in your current subject areas such as results from tests, grades, or publications.
    Relevance of your prior education to the master’s program.
    The position of the institution from which you earned your prior degree(s).
  • Ambition
    The relevance and quality of your motivational letter to the Master’s degree.
    Show promise in the light of previous accomplishments performance, achievements, and work in the area of study.
    Life experiences or extracurricular activities like volunteer work or internships.
  • References
    Qualitative recommendations are contained in both reference letters. with preferably two academic references. For more information, check out these guidelines for reference (pdf 87 kb, 87 kB).

The students who apply for The Radboud University Scholarship will be assessed individually by the committee that selects the faculty to they have applied to. The selection committee will be dependent on the criteria listed in the previous paragraph. Faculty members may make their choice based on other factors as well. Some study programs have interviews, for instance.

How can I apply to be considered for Radboud University Scholarship?

You can apply for the scholarship by indicating in the process of submitting your request for acceptance into a master’s program on the OSIRIS Application system. OSIRIS Applications system you would like to apply for a Radboud Univesity Scholarship. You will then be asked to submit three additional documents, including two reference letters, and an application for a curriculum resume. If you previously submitted these documents to the master’s program then you can submit the same documents to submit your application for a scholarship.

The selection process for The selection for the Radboud university scholarship and admission into the Master’s program are two distinct processes: acceptance to the master’s program is not an indication of acceptance to receive the award.

The last day to apply for Radboud University Scholarship

You must have submitted your application online through the System for OSIRIS Applications on the 28th of February, 2022 at 23:59 CEST by the latest date.

Note that incomplete applications won’t be evaluated for Radboud Scholarship selection. A non-completed application indicates that the application’s information and/or documents are not legible or missing. Please be aware to submit your application on your online OSIRIS Application by the middle of February 2022 by the deadline to ensure you can ensure that your Admissions Office has enough time to examine your application and notify you if it’s not complete. We suggest that you submit your evidence of English proficiency before the deadline of the 28th of February 2022, too.

 

You will be notified of the decision made by the Department of Student Life and International Mobility. Department of Student Life and International Mobility regarding your application for the Radboud Scholarship by the middle of April 2022 (date subject to changes).

Who is qualified?

You are only qualified to apply for a Radboud Scholarship if you:

  1. have a passport that is not EU/EEA.
  2. aren’t qualified for the less expensive EEA tuition fee due to other reasons
  3. Have (will achieve) earned a Bachelor’s degree outside of the Netherlands and have not had any degrees obtained within the Netherlands and have not received any prior education in the Netherlands (exchange programs exempted, provided they form an integral part of the Bachelor’s degrees earned in a country other than the Netherlands)
  4. Meet the English requirements for language proficiency to be enrolled in the Master’s program you choose
  5. are fully accepted to the Master’s degree taught in English program that will begin on September 1, 2022, as indicated in the official letter of admission.
  6. can meet the requirements for obtaining an entry visa to the Netherlands
  7. Students are students in Radboud University as full-time students during the academic year as well as the Master’s degree program in which the scholarship will be granted.

What criteria do students get selected?

The selection of winners of the scholarship will be determined by the following guidelines:

  • Academic excellence
    Achieving outstanding results in your current area of study, For example, results from tests, grades, or publications.
    Relevance of your previous qualification to the master’s degree.
    The rank of the school from which you received your previous degree(s).
  • Ambition
    The relevance and quality of your motivational letters for the Master’s degree.
    Show potential Based on previous accomplishments performance, achievements, and work in the field of study.
    Life experiences and/or extracurricular activities like volunteer work or internships.
  • References

Students who apply to The Radboud Scholarship will be individually assessed by the committee that selects the faculty to they submitted their application to. The selection process is determined by the criteria mentioned above. Faculty members may base their selection on different criteria, too; for instance, some studies have interviews as an instance.

How do I apply?

It is possible to apply by indicating when you submit your application to a Master’s program on the OSIRIS Application system. OSIRIS Applications system you would like to apply for the Radboud Scholarship. Then, you will be asked to submit three additional documents, including two reference letters, and an application for a curriculum CV. If you previously submitted these documents to the Master’s program You can upload them again to submit your application for a scholarship.

Note that incomplete applications are not taken into consideration for Radboud Scholarship selection. Incomplete applications mean that the application’s information and/or documents are not legible or missing. Please be aware to submit your application on your online OSIRIS Application within the early part of February 2022, at the most to ensure your Admissions Office may have enough time to examine your application and notify you if it’s insufficient. We suggest that you submit your evidence of English proficiency before the deadline of the 28th of February 2022.
